Creative Europe Musethica Project – 1000+ Concerts: Innovating Higher Music Education through Social Inclusion 2025-2028
The A. V. Nezhdanova Odesa National Academy of Music is one of the consortium partners of an ambitious project Co-funded by the EU. Preparations lasted almost a year, and in September 2024, the project received co-funding from the EU’s Creative Europe program. Among the main partners of the project are Musethica International (Germany, Spain, Israel, Sweden), the Association of European Conservatories AEC, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna MDW (Austria), the Higher Music Academy of Catalonia ESMUC (Spain), Sinfonia Varsovia (Poland), the Zeister International Chamber Music Festival Stichting Zeister Muziekdagen (Netherlands), and the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal).
For the Academy this is the first experience of being a partner in Creative Europe supported international project of such magnitude. Creative Europe is a funding programme established by the European Union to support the cultural, creative, and audiovisual sectors across Europe. The programme aims to promote cultural diversity, creativity, and competitiveness while safeguarding and promoting Europe’s rich cultural heritage.
