On the eve of the celebration of Christmas in Europe, associate professors of the Department of Foreign Languages TV Гремалюк, Т.І. Richka, N.O. In the period from 6 to 14 December 2020, Karpov held a video conference with students of 2-3 courses, dedicated to the linguistic and cultural European Christmas traditions. Teachers acquainted students with the peculiarities of Christmas in different European countries, including England, Germany, Italy, France and Spain. Students learned interesting lexical and musical material on this topic, in particular sang the famous song “Jingle Bells” in English, German and Ukrainian and no less famous in the world Ukrainian song “Shchedryk” in different languages.
Christmas is celebrated by people all over the world, regardless of their religion. It is a celebration of family, well-being, light and warmth.
